Renovation of an existing swimming pool and creation of a garden.

The existing swimming pool located on the peak of a slope surrounded by scrubland. The swimming pool appeared somewhat abandoned and visually unattractive, it does have a major asset however: fantastic views of the Bay of San Antonio and its famous sunsets.

Our concept was to create a space on three levels while playing with various textures of pavement, stone, water and plants. These three levels create stage, directed towards the spectacle of the bay, giving a '3D' effect. We based the work on the following points:

Overflow for pool on the panoramic side, 3 terraces around the swimming pool,
Pool bar (Moroccan-style),
Wooden pergola (rustic-style),
Lush tropical vegetation,
Renovation of the swimming pool,
Decorative and functional lighting.

The results of this ambitious project speak for themselves, and the very lush gardens set the scene perfectly, and are an invitation to the bathe, contemplate life or simply relax.

The play of the blue rectangle of the swimming pool, the volume of the pool bar, the pergola and the gardens are a perfect interpretation of the balance between the forms and volumes, which in turn provoke feelings of well being and plenitude.
